Christmas go karting social

A small group of Mini 7 Racing Club drivers and social members are heading to Daytona Milton Keynes on 28th December at 2pm for a spot of Dmax go karting.

If you fancy joining in, the event costs £65 and can be booked online now at www.daytona.co.uk/venues/milton-keynes.

Select the 2pm session and we'll see you there, but please note it is limited to 20 drivers.

0-plate Winter Warmer

The final race meeting of the 2017 M7RC calendar played out at Brands Hatch over the weekend, with 0-Plate success for Lee Deegan and Leon Window.

AGM proposals reminder

A quick reminder to all Mini 7 Racing Club members that we need to have all proposals submitted two weeks ahead of the AGM, which is to be held on Sunday 26th November, 10am, The Chiltern Hotel, Luton, LU4 9RU.

Graham Hill Trophy re-launched for 2018

The Mini 7 Racing Club is planning to re-introduce the historic Graham Hill Memorial Trophy as part of a 2018 recruitment drive for young racers.

With interest at an all-time high in the Club’s ‘Scholarship’ S-Class for limited-tuning 1275cc Minis, and many enquiries from teenage wannabe Lewis Hamiltons, the addition of a separate award alongside the overall S-Class title offers a welcome boost for youngsters on a budget looking for that first step into circuit racing.


Mini Se7ens return to Birkett six hour

Team 32 is heading back to the Birkett six-hour relay race at Silverstone this Saturday, aiming to top their result from 2016.

Based from garage 6C, the team includes current Mini Se7en racers Steve Trench, Steven Hopper, Julian Proctor, Darren Thomas, Andrew Deviny and Dave Robinson.

Rockingham Recap

The 2017 season concluded at a somewhat damp and cold ‘TruxxFactor’ meeting at Rockingham Speedway in Northamptonshire, with the remaining class trophies provisionally decided.

In a tense Mini Se7en finale weekend, Charlie Budd secured the title with a round to go, taking victory on the last lap when longtime leader Lewis Selby’s overheated engine lost power, cruelly dropping him to second and leaving him unable to mathematically overturn the points deficit.
