We returned to Castle Combe circuit for the third time this year on Saturday 17th September. Like the first visit, there was no racing, but plenty of action on track.
The Action Day has been held at Castle Combe each September since the early '90s and has become one of the must-visit shows of the year.
We were positioned over in the Parc Ferme area, so a little out of the way, although an enjoyable day was had by all.
Thanks to all who made the trip over and display their cars. The three Js - Josh Collins, Julian Affleck and Julian Proctor all went out for a track session too. Ashley Davies was seen out on track, but in his MINI GP this time, with the Se7en still poorly after Snetterton.
In no particular order, cars on display included Ashley Davies' Se7en, Sam Summerhayes' Miglia, Darren Eaton's Se7en, Simon Martin's Se7en, Josh Collins' Se7en S Class, Julian Proctor's Se7en, Ian Fraser's Miglia and Julian Affleck's Se7en S Class. What a line-up!
We also held a competition to win a pair of tickets for the BTCC finale at Brands Hatch in two weeks time, which was won by Dave Turner. Congrats!
